Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a starting point in cooperation with customers and partners for Vlastuin. CSR is an integral vision of sustainable business practices. CSR Netherlands’ approach to CSR is based on the European Commission’s definition: corporate social responsibility refers to companies taking responsibility for their impact on society.

Companies that engage in a socially responsible enterprise consider the social and economic impact of all their decisions, while taking into account the interests of their stakeholders (interested parties). These stakeholders can include employees and clients, or parties such as local residents, suppliers, investors and even society at large.

Vlastuin operates according to a code of conduct. We adhere to rules for social standards and responsibilities for carrying out our business activities. Our partners are also selected on working according to international rules of conduct, for example carbon footprint sustainability as a goal. This responsibility affects decisions we make regarding purchasing, manufacturing and collaborations with social institutions / social workplaces.
