Interactive instore concept.
Within Carrefour’s chocolate category in Zemst, Belgium, a new interactive instore concept was developed for Côte d’Or. By creating extra attention and by showing new applications of using Côte d’Or chocolate in combination with other ingredients, impulse buy is stimulated, which is essential in this category.
Three digital screens at the top create interest and appetite appeal for cooking with chocolate. On a separate touch screen, the consumer chooses a recipe and the necessary ingredient list is printed directly. All necessary ingredients can easily be found on the display. The display also offers different types of food pairing promotions, for example wines in combination with chocolate flavours and also product introductions can be given special attention.
Vlastuin created this concept in collaboration with Mondelēz and Carrefour from concept design and content development to production and placement.
