Job Title: Shipment quality controller

Located in a beautiful monumental building in Baarn, Vlastuin consists of approximately 25 enthusiastic and dedicated specialists.
Primary responsibilities:
- Visiting our partner warehouses in Baarn, Utrecht, Oosterhout (near Nijmegen) few times a week to check the quality of shipments
- Controlling pallets are correctly prepacked and labelled based on brief
- Order picking various items in our warehouses to build up boxes and/or pallets for planned transport
- Preparation and packing of pallets for transport
- Working with product and logistics check lists
- Understanding the built of our products to be able to check if all items making one product are correctly combined and packed for a delivery
- Counting stocks (stock inventory) on regular basis
- Reporting and sharing information with internal colleagues and with warehouses
- Transporting items from own suppliers or warehouses when needed
- Serving as a backup for the logistics staff: handling incoming/outgoing packages, inventory management, communication with warehouse as needed
Education and required competencies:
- Completed MBO degree is a must and HBO degree is a plus
- For this position, we are looking for an independent go-getter and problem solver
- You are hands-on, flexible, and assertive
- Good organizational skills and attention to details are a must
- Working in a dynamic work environment suits you perfectly
- Work experience as quality controller or co-packer is a plus
- Experience with logistics and transport administrative processes and tasks is a plus
- Affinity with technical production of displays is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) to create reports
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both in a business and internal context
- Proficient in Dutch and English, knowledge of German is a plus
- This is a full-time (minimum 32 hours) position with frequent visits to warehouses
- Driver’s license is a must
- Having a car is a plus
